How the mode works

Instead of running the sanding units in full operating mode, the “Cost & Energy Saver” automatically switches to an energy-saving operating mode as soon as no panels are being sanded.

The machine stays warm and ready for immediate use, while the motors consume significantly less electrical energy.

Concrete savings example

Typical sanding line:

Installed power: 1,090 kW.
Idle power, normal operation: 382 kW.
Idle power, Smart Savings Mode: 267 kW.
Idle savings: 115 kW.
2 hours of idle time per day, 320 production days per year, electricity price 0.10 EUR/kWh.

Result: 115 kW × 2 h/day × 320 days/year × 0.10 EUR/kWh = 7,360 EUR saved per year.
