GPI is the new distributor for abrasives in Australia
Steinemann Technology AG, Switzerland, has appointed the GPI Group of Companies, Australia, as the new distributor for its abrasives products in Australia.
Starting on July 1, 2010, GPI represents the complete abrasives assortment of Steinemann Technology AG. The customers thereby receive a maximum of availability and flexibility.

Bastian Druck installs a HIBIS 104 rotary flexo and screen printing machine
Since installing a HIBIS 104 rotary flexo and screen printing machine, Bastian-Druck has been pulling out all the stops in offline finishing.
Do we fit the new printing press not with a double varnishing unit, but just with a conventional varnishing unit and instead additionally install a separate offline machine for finishing with UV varnish? The forthcoming modernisation of their machinery portfolio gave Bastian-Druck the opportunity to take an innovative approach in print finishing – and thereby acquire a unique selling proposition on the marketplace. The answer was soon found, and a HIBIS 104 rotary flexo and screen printing machine from Steinemann Technology has been finishing the company's print products since early 2009.

Druckhaus Mainfranken puts second COLIBRI 104 into service
A second COLIBRI 104 offline UV varnishing machine from Swiss manu-facturer Steinemann Technology AG was put into service at Druckhaus Mainfranken in October 2009.
As a result, the renowned printing company has doubled its offline finishing capacity after less than a year. Just a few weeks after installation, the new machine, too, is working almost at full capacity in two-shift operation. The Marktheidenfeld-based printers are currently varnishing up to roughly 170,000 sheets per day at peak times – and increasingly also for business colleagues. Consequently, the company management is expecting the new varnishing machine to achieve just as rapid an ROI as the first COLIBRI 104.

At this year's Bobst Competence Days, held in Lausanne / Switzerland from 17 19 March 2009, the Bobst Group and Steinemann Technology gave the several hundred visitors a joint presentation of an innovative solution that now enables particularly economical finishing of folding boxes with UV varnishes and subsequent gluing.

Steinemann (Shanghai) Machinery Co., Ltd. consolidates position
ISO 9001 certification of the Steinemann facility in Shanghai / Production strictly to European quality standards / Presentation at China Print 2009.
Steinemann Technology AG, St. Gallen/Switzerland, is progressively implementing the announced trategic expansion of its market position in China and the other markets in Asia. For example, the production facility of Steinemann (Shanghai) Machinery Co., Ltd. in Shanghai was recently certified to ISO 9001 in the framework of comprehensive quality management – meaning that it consistently meets Western quality standards. Steinemann Technology will once again be taking this year's China Print (Beijing, 12 – 16 May) as an opportunity to emphasise its all-round competence in matters of high-end print finishing to the visitors to the event, most of whom come from the region.
